Letter from Chanel K Guillermo
Good Morning Mrs. Starkey,
I thought I would shoot you a quick email to just to say "hello"!
Just received the Starkey newsletter and can't believe it's been THREE years since I graduated!! I miss Denver sometimes.
Everything is going extremely well. I am not sure if you heard or if I told you but after some "reorganizing" with Sky River I ended up getting laid off. Most of us did actually.
Turned out to be the best thing that could have happened me. I was found by a headhunter of wonderful Family here in San Antonio, Texas. I was hired on as the Estate Manager for their ranch. I lived onsite for the first 6 mos to jump right in an educate myself with everything. I have a domestic staff of 4, oversee 3 properties, and handle just about anything; IT, landscaping, housekeeping, cooking, coordinating very large and small events etc.. Never is there a day that is the same for me!
Texas is quite different from Las Vegas, in so many ways.. but I can honestly say that I absolutely LOVE my job. I want to thank you, Mr. Bertnick, and of course Mr. Altoff, for the training and advice that you have given to me. I can't count how many times I have pulled out my Starkey textbook for info.
I hope all is well with you! Keep in touch..
Thank you,
Chanel K Guillermo
